This week on Theater Talk, Anthony and Peter talk about passings this past 2024 with a nod to Linda Balgord (2/18/1950 - 3/5/2024) who toured as Norma Desmond in SUNSET BLVD and sang "The Perfect Year" - "Ring out the old / Bring in the new ... We don't need a crowded ballroom / Everything we need is here / And face to face we will embrace / the perfect year." BUA & Torn Space's THE LEGEND OF GEORGIA MCBRIDE is a great story just in time for Pride month, and SUFFS, the Broadway musical at Shea's, also gets its point across with a lot of sass.
