The Niagara Frontier Chord Authority (NFCA) will present “Sweet Summer Harmony” an a cappella concert with guest performer , Max Goldhirsch. Attendees will be invited to enjoy refreshments following the concert.The singers of NFCA are proud members of Harmony, Inc., an international organization of choruses and quartets united by the shared love of a cappella 4-part harmony.Our purpose is to empower women through singing, education, and friendship.Our passion is a commitment to share the joy of singing throughout our communities.Our strength is in our members, each unique and diverse voice contributing to our harmonious blend.The chorus repertoire spans the “American Songbook” with well-known tunes like In My Life, Eight Days a Week and Rockin’ Robin, and concert attendees will also hear some lesser known but fun songs such as Are You Having Any Fun? and In the Cool Cool Cool of the evening
Established in 1986, today NFCA’s singers celebrate almost 40 years of harmony and friendship. Guiding this chorus from inception is music director Ron Mason, and today he shares that role with his daughter Carol Zeffiro. Whether it be with a classic tune or contemporary song, the ensemble enjoys sharing their love of music with audiences of all sizes. Max also writes and produces his own music and will share his talents in a performance during NFCA’s concert on June 19th.
