International Poetry Reading SeriesPlease join us at the Centro Culturale Italiano di Buffalo (CCI) as poets Irene Sipos and Perry Nicholas read from their recently released collections of poetry, "Connections" and "Island of Your Heart" from NFB Publishing.
Irene Sipos, earned her Master of Arts in the legendary 1970's English Dept. of SUNYAB . She recently retired from SUNY Buffalo State. She is a former host of the reading series "The Book Corner" at the Congregation Shir Shalom in Amherst.
Perry Nicholas, semi-retired professor at NCCC. Founder of the International Poetry Reading Series at the Centro Culturale Italiano di Buffalo (CCI). Honored with the Chancellor Award of the New York State Dept. of Ed. Former host of several reading series. Featured in readings throughout New York State and Greece.

The 50th Anniversary Gala for Native American Community Services (NACS) is a milestone celebration honoring five decades of culturally grounded service to Indigenous and underserved communities across Western New York. This elegant evening will include dinner, guest speakers, cultural performances, a basket raffle, and recognition of key partners and community leaders. The event will reflect Haudenosaunee values of unity, gratitude, and stewardship, while also raising critical funds to support NACS’s programs in health, education, family wellness, and cultural preservation.
