Apr 16 Thursday
Acclaimed choreographer and performer Guillaume Côté will host a free dance sword fighting workshop on Thursday, April 16 in the dance studio of Toronto's historic Elgin Theatre. Joined by cast member Lukas Malkowski, the class celebrates the return of The Tragedy of Hamlet: Prince of Denmark to the stage later this month. Côté and Malkowski will teach movements directly inspired by the production's climactic duel between their characters, Hamlet and Laertes. Open to all, this 90-minute experience will offer participants the unique opportunity to explore the artistry and physicality of dance sword fighting from an expert in Canada's ballet scene.
Space in the workshop is limited, email tickets@showoneproductions.ca or call 647-226-3710 to RSVP.

with music festival season on the horizon, sleaze ball is transforming into SLEAZECHELLA — a tribute to early‑aughts coachella.
before music festivals became glossy, corporate spectacles, coachella was an indie‑lover’s mecca: a desert weekend just outside the hollywood hills showcasing the coolest acts across rock and electronic subgenres. it helped launch trends like flower crowns, boho chic, ray‑bans, and skull scarves — and propelled iconic artists from amy winehouse and justice to skrillex, foster the people, and lana del rey
secure your wristbands and join us as we enter the festival gates to a land of palm trees, partying, and celebrity sightings. one of sleaze ball’s OG themes (the very first to be exact) is back with a stacked lineup of performers delivering headliner energy and, as usual, indie (sleaze) vibes
