Join in on celebration of all things bicycling on Saturday, August 2nd at South Park the Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens.
BUFFALO, NEW YORK / AUGUST 2ND 2025
Now in its 12th consecutive year, the Plan2Peak: Two Days of Buffalo bicycling event is back - bigger and more exciting than ever! The celebration kicks off Saturday, August 2nd in South Park, with a full day of cycling fun including a community ride, kids race-parade and the main event: Elite Women’s and Elite Men’s races to watch. The festivities will be emceed by pedal party enthusiast, Anita West from 97 Rock, bringing the energy all day long.
Spectators can watch elite bike racers from across the US and Canada who will pedal to top speeds of 30+ miles per hour! While enjoying the action, guests can grab delicious bites from Sun Cuisines Food Truck and Beer from Five&20 Spirits and Brewing. Want to join in on the fun? Don’t miss the community Slow Pedal around South Buffalo, led by Rick Singer of Slow Roll and ride ambassadors from WNY Bikes. Plus, kids under 8 can take part in a special “bike race/parade” at the start/finish line - it’s fun for the whole family!
This free, spectator-friendly event is open to the public.
Schedule of Events:
12PM-4PM - Sun Cuisines Food Truck and beer by Five&20 Brewing
1:30 PM - Free Community Bike ride - 10mph pace. Meet at the South Park main entrance at South Park & Park Drive at 1 PM. All are welcome to participate. Helmets are mandatory.
2:00 PM - Watch the Women’s Elite Race
2:45PM - Kids Bike Race-Parade. Parents can sign their kids up at the free event. Helmets are mandatory.
3:15 PM - Watch the Elite Men’s Race

Two Days of Buffalo is presented by Plan2Peak – Health and Human Performance. Plan2Peak is a locally based company run by former racer Peter Cummings, providing elite coaching services for bike racers as well as triathletes, Peter has coached 10 National Championship titles and over 60 state Championship wins.
