A dangerous fugitive from Western New York has been taken into custody. Dominick Cruz is accused of a January double shooting in a North Tonawanda parking lot that caused one fatality and critically wounded another man. A tip received by US Marshals led to a Lancaster, Pennsylvania residence where Cruz was arrested.

Marshal Charles Salina expressed his appreciation for the local help that they received in the case, stating, "I would like to commend the work the North Tonawanda Police Department who was instrumental in assisting with this three month long investigation."

Cruz is being held in a Lancaster County prison awaiting extradition to Niagara County.
