The Buffalo Bills have reached an agreement with Defensive End Jerry Hughes and worked out a deal with new Running Back LeSean McCoy. The NFL Network is reporting the Bills have agreed to a five year contract with Hughes. The deal is reported to be worth 45-million-dollars. Hughes was set to become an unrestricted free agent tomorrow.
The Bills trade for McCoy doesn't become official until Tuesday, but the team has already renegotiated his contract. The five year deal pays him as much as $40-million, with a $13-million signing bonus to be paid immediately and a first year salary of $2.6-million fully guaranteed. The new deal helps the Bills with the salary cap, giving the team more money to spend in free agency.
