Niagara County Sheriff's deputies made an arrest at the scene of the crime on Saturday. Authorities were investigating a string of robberies at a Rite Aid location in Lockport when the suspect appeared at the store. Thirty-one year old Jason Benedict was tasered as he fled the store. He faces numerous charges in connection with 5 larcenies at the store.
He is being held in lieu of $1000 bail.
