A single vehicle accident has taken the lives of two in Newfane last night. The Niagara County Sheriff's Office is reporting that a speeding car left Ridge Road at approximately 10 o'clock last night while attempting to negotiate a curve. The careening vehicle struck a number of objects, including a pair of trees. Both occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.
The identities of the victims are being withheld at this time.
