The Irish Center in South Buffalo was the site for a protest by Buffalo Firefighters on Friday. Firefighters union members gathered to express their discontent with working without a contract since 2002. Union members are urging City Hall to present a complete deal for the rank and file to consider. Mayor Brown contends that he has made proposals, but union leadership claims those offerings do not comprise a complete contract.
The parties have scheduled a meeting for Monday.
