Two local high school students will be performing in the 10th annual Jimmy Awards in New York City Monday eveing. They are among 80-high schoolers from 40-regional programs across the country to compete for Best Performance by an actor and actress. The local students emerged as top winners at the annual Kenny Awards at Shea’s Performing Arts Center, receiving Outstanding Actress and Actor awards. WBFO’s senior reporter Eileen Buckley met with the local nominees, Emily Kuhn from Tonawanda High School and Christopher Palumbo from Starpoint High School, to talk about their talents.
