WBFO News has learned that the long-awaited fact-finding report on the Buffalo teachers contract has been released, but remains embargo. Buffalo Teachers Federation president Phil Rumore tells WBFO News he can't comment on it until after midnight Wednesday.
"We received the fact finders report. Our executive committee was briefed on it. It is embargoed until midnight," said Rumore. "The Board of Education will be reviewing it at their board meeting on Wednesday. After Wednesday we will be able to comment on it. The only thing I can tell you is it has been received by both sides."
Buffalo School teachers have been working without a new contract for more than a decade. The District has been waiting for the fact-finding report before moving forward with new contract talks.
