Another member of the Schuele Boys Gang is behind bars. U.S. Attorney William Hochul said 31-year old Julio Contreras of Texas was arrested as he attempted to return to the U.S. from Mexico.
The announcement was made at the Delavan Grider Community Center, just blocks away from Schedule Avenue on the city's East Side.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Wei Xiang said this suspect is considered the gangs cocaine supplier. "He was caught at Texas-Mexico border crossing three days ago -- Monday evening, so he has been arrested. He was the fifth and last defendant to be unsealed in this racketeering conspiracy indictment," stated Wei Xiang.

The suspected gang member is expected to be returned to Buffalo in the coming weeks. "We expect there will be a detention hearing and that he will be transferred to Buffalo, the Western District of New York, in the coming weeks," said Wei Xiang.
The Government alleges that Contreras supplied the Schuele Boys with upwards of $1,000,000 of cocaine on a monthly basis.
U.S. Attorney Hochul said the Schuele gang traces back to 2000. Nine members have been convicted. They were involved in some of the most violent crimes in the city.
