Press Pass: Is it time to upgrade the Bisons' ballpark?

WBFO News photo by Eileen Buckley

Should Coca-Cola Field -- home to the Buffalo Bisons -- undergo a modernization?  That's the question recently explored by Buffalo News reporter Brian Meyer in an extensive news article.  WBFO'S Eileen Buckley discusses the future of the ballpark with Meyer in this morning's Press Pass conversation.

Coca-Cola Field, home of the Buffalo Bisons.

It was 26-years ago on this date, April 14, 1988, the city was  celebrating a brand new ballpark for baseball in downtown -- it was then named Pilot Field --  Buffalo's 'field of dreams' for then former and late Mayor Jimmy Griffin and Bisons owner Bob Rich, junior.

The ballpark was brand new and there were high hopes of brining in a major league team, but that never happened.  Fast-forward 26-years later and attention turns to major upgrades needed to what is now known as Coca-Cola Field at the corner of Swan and Washington.
