This June, Buffalo Toronto Public Media presents “Let's Go!”, an original digital-first series guiding young, curious learners through virtual field trips. Come along with actress and adventurer Chrisena as she explores behind-the-scenes with experts at exciting sites throughout Western New York, such as the Burchfield Penney Art Center, The Colored Musicians Club, The Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park, the Buffalo Museum of Science, and more.
“I am beyond proud of ‘Let's Go!’ Our goal is to provide opportunities for young learners and families to visit special places in our area without having to face financial, mobility, and other accessibility barriers. Each episode will include behind-the-scenes content and classroom resources for further exploration!" said Beth Fronckowiak, Buffalo Toronto Public Media’s Director of Learning & Engagement.
“Let's Go!” will be featured on PBS LearningMedia, a free national platform that provides digital learning tools for preschool teachers and K-12 classrooms. PBS LearningMedia has a national reach of 1.6 million educators, and over 30 million students. Episodes will also be released on the Buffalo Toronto Public Media YouTube Channel and www.wned.org.
Funding for this programming was provided in part by the New York State Education Department.
