By Eileen Buckley

Buffalo, NY – Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown is officially supporting Barack Obama. Brown will be leaving for Denver on Monday to attend the Democratic National Convention.

Mayor Brown was a big supporter of Hillary Clinton. But after she dropped out as a presidential contender, Brown turned his support to Obama.

Brown says he saw Obama in Washington back in June for Tim Russert's funeral and had a very brief conversation with him. Brown says he believes many of the issues Obama has been touting throughout his campaign are critical issues for the Buffalo region.
