Officials have taken Robert McBride into custody. He is suspected of firing shots at police last Thursday.

Buffalo police say the man wanted for shooting at officers last week is now in custody. Police had been searching for 23-year-old Robert McBride since he allegedly fired several shots at two officers during a foot chase near Lang and Newburgh Avenues last Thursday morning. McBride is expected to be charged with attempted murder. In a statement from Buffalo police, department officials praised the work of intelligence unit detectives. They also thanked the public for its help.
