Thoughts on Ash Wednesday

Today is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent. WBFO's Mark Wozniak spoke with Rev. Msgr. J. Patrick Keleher, the Director and Campus Minister for the Newman Center at the University at Buffalo. Father Pat shared his thoughs about Ash Wednesday, the Lenten season, and he began by reflecting on the priest abuse scandal in the Catholic Church as people gathered for a noon service where ashes were distributed.

Mark Wozniak, WBFO's local All Things Considered host, has been at WBFO since mid-1978.
