Jamestown Police say a body found earlier this week has been positively identified as missing person Sean Carpenter.
The 35-year-old was last sen walking down Pine Street, toward 1st Street, in Jamestown about 1:45 a.m. April 11.
Police say his body was recovered from Chadakoin River and identified through the Erie County Medical Examiner's Office. The cause of death is not yet known.
