A widespread weather system is bringing snow to Western New York today. The heaviest of the snow is hitting Allegany County where several schools canceled classes. A winter storm warning is in effect until 4 a.m. Thursday for Allegany, Cattaraugus and Wyoming counties while the rest of the region is under a winter weather advisory.
