Choco-Logo Confectionary Design is once again making chocolate in downtown Buffalo.
After a brief shutdown, the company was recently purchased by Bob Little. Little lived on the East Coast for several years but always dreamed of moving back to Buffalo because, he says, Western New York is a special place.
"It's a community that is made up of its people and I have not seen that replicated in other cities that I have lived in. You can see that all the time when you look around these days with the resurgence in Buffalo. So many different people, from all different backgrounds, who are committed to this community and to building the local economy," Little said.
After going to school in Boston, MA, Little worked in New York City as a corporate lawyer for about six years. But, he says, he has always had an entrepreneurial itch.

"It's something I've always thought about, owning my own small business, working for myself. About six months ago I met Dan Johnson the prior owner of Choco-Logo and started talking to him. And as time went by it just started to click and make sense that if I was ever going to make the jump this was the fit and this is where I wanted to be," Little said.
Along with a retail shop at 141 Broadway, near Elm Street, Choco-Logo specializes in custom branded chocolate gifts for businesses, nonprofits and fund raising events.
