Following the tragic shooting that killed five people and injured eight at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Friday afternoon, the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority has released a statement.
An NFTA official says "the safety and security of the traveling public is a top priority for the NFTA police."
Security has been heightened at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
