Buffalo Fire Department

A Buffalo fire truck and another vehicle were heavily damaged after colliding this morning.

The crash took place at Delaware Avenue and Bryant Street at around 9:50 a.m.

Engine 2 was southbound on Delaware, answering an alarm with lights and siren on, when it struck the other vehicle westbound on Bryant.

The driver of the other vehicle had to be extricated, but he is said to have non-life threatening injuries.

No firefighters were reported injured.

The accident is under investigation.
