Western New Yorkers are enjoying the first annual Buffalo Ribfest at Canalside. Saturday is the final day of the two-day event. Buffalo Ribfest features live music with national country acts along with five national rib vendors and local vendors like Chiavettas, The Fire Spot and Desperados. Buffalo Ribfest Event Manager Karen Konecko says the festival is family friendly and offers delicious sides and a variety of food options. "You can find shredded chicken, brisket, pulled pork sandwiches; there's a hog dog. All kinds of great food items. And you know Buffalo is the home of chicken wings. We love pizza, we love all kinds of great food and today you can definitely find that here", says Konecko. Buffalo Ribfest ends at 10p.m. Tickets are $10 and include concert admission.
