On Sunday Buffalo Police reiterated precautions that will be taken to ensure police safety.
Following the recent Dallas shooting, the Buffalo Police Department required two officers per vehicle. In the wake of the Baton Rouge police shooting, Mayor Byron Brown announced the City Hall dome will be lit red, white and blue Sunday starting at 8 p.m. Those colors are the colors of the Baton Rouge flag.
Buffalo Police are also reminding everyone that the Italian Festival ends Sunday at 10 p.m. There is security in place. No major incidents have been reported.
