It has been a warm summer already, and the City of Buffalo now has all of their aquatic locations open to the public to help cool off.Mayor Byron Brown has announced that all 8 outdoor pools, 2 indoor pools, 2 wading pools and 11 splash pads will be open daily, weather permitting. He also stated that security will be on hand at these locations.
"We will have private security at all of our pools this summer, and we will have the presence of Buffalo Police, who will visit our pools during the course of the summer to make sure that our children and families can have a safe and entertaining and fun time at our pools."
Improvement at the pools and splash pads has been part of a $52 million dollar investment in the parks since 2006.
The pools will be open from 11 AM until 7 PM through September first.
