An assault early Friday morning has led to the arrest of a Lockport man. Police responded to a call on West Avenue where a 13-year-old female had been stabbed. The victim was rushed to Eastern Niagara Hospital for treatment. A short time later authorities arrested 20-year-old Derrick Washburn on a variety of charges, including first-degree assault.
He is being held on $10,000 bail. Any witnesses to the crime are asked to call 716 433-7700.
