NT man critical following Kenmore Avenue crash

A North Tonawanda man is in critical condition after his pickup truck crashed into a tractor-trailer on Kenmore Avenue Wednesday morning.  The incident happened just before 8:30 a.m. on the 2200 block of Kenmore Avenue. Buffalo Police say the unidentified 53-year-old male driver lost control of his vehicle, crossed the center line and jumped a curb before striking a semi that was pulling out of a driveway. He was taken by ambulance to ECMC.

The driver of the tractor trailer suffered only minor injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation, but Buffalo Police say speed appears to be a factor.

Kenmore Avenue is currently closed between Vulcan Street and Roesch Avenue.
