The Buffalo Zoo hosts Polar Bites 2015 tonight. Despite our frigid temperatures, organizers say the event will draw 1,200 people to the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.
The annual fundraiser features food and beverages from Western New York establishments with proceeds benefiting the Zoo's annual operating fund.
The fund keeps the Zoo running year round despite lower attendance during the winter months.
