An escaped prisoner is back in custody. Thomas Walsh, 29, reportedly turned himself in to Orchard Park Police yesterday after about 24 hours on the run.
Walsh escaped from the Buffalo City Court lockup following his arraignment earlier this week. He is said to now be facing a felony charge for escape in addition to previous charges that included Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property.
Meanwhile, officials will be reviewing the incident to determine what changes in policies and procedures may be necessary.
