Buffalo Police investigating double homicide

Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of two young men on a Buffalo street. 

Buffalo Police say the shooting happened around 1:15 a.m. Sunday on Butler Avenue.

The victims, both in their 20s, were taken to Erie County Medical Center, where they died.  
 

Several men were observed running from the scene as police arrived.  

The names of the victims have not been released.
