A Lancaster woman has died after suffering a gunshot wound inflicted by her boyfriend. Twenty-nine year old Nicole Sheehan was celebrating her birthday with 38-year-old Sam Reynolds along the Lake Erie shore in Chautauqua County on Thursday. Reynolds drew a gun, shooting Sheehan in the head. She escaped and was being treated at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Police discovered the body of Reynolds after an apparent suicide.
Sheehan succumbed to her injuries on Friday afternoon.
