Sergio Rodriguez, the Republican candidate for Buffalo's mayoral seat, has gained another endorsement. The Canisius College Student Newspaper, The Griffin, has thrown its support behind Rodriguez. The paper cites what it calls Mayor Brown's "lackuster record" and asserts that he has established "low expectations" for the city. The paper refers to the Rodriguez campaign as "impassioned" and "innovative."
The editors also contend that the Republican will bring "energy and enthusiasm" to the office along with a focus on the issues.
