The cremated remains of 30 people have been found in an abandoned Bailey Avenue funeral home according to a published report in the Buffalo News. The United Memorial & Moss Funeral Home was closed after a severe fire in 2011. Katherine Goodman White had been doggedly pursuing the recovery of her father's remains from funeral home director Rinaldo Moss with no success. Moss relocated to Georgia after the fire. An investigation is being considered to determine if any illegalities were committed in the case.
The successful search through the building came before a pending demolition.
