Thousands of people braved the record setting heat on Saturday to enjoy the various offerings of the Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts.
The popular event is a family friendly atmosphere with a Kidfest area along with numerous options of food, drink and entertainment. Nearly two hundred booths displayed the wares of talented local artists and craftsmen.
Temperatures are expected to be a bit cooler today as the festival continues from 10 Am until 5 PM on Elmwood between Lafayette and West Ferry.
