Canalside in downtown Buffalo will be the home for a majestic three-masted schooner next month.
The Empire Shandy, a Canadian tall ship, will visit the waterfront as part of the recognition of the War of 1812. The schooner replicates a 19th century war ship. Public tours will be available, and this will be the first of a series of ships that will visit the city as commemorative events continue in recalling the conflict with Canada.
The schooner will be in Buffalo from August 6th through the 8th.
