Local lawmakers and community activists are urging people without health care coverage to sign up as soon as possible. The deadline for New York residents to enroll is March 31st.  Moore than two million people still don't have coverage.

Buffalo Common Council member David Rivera says he wants to make sure people have the primary care they need.

"There are people out there with diabetes and high blood pressure.  If they had primary care, they could deal with it right away," Rivera said.  "Our goal is to make sure that every person has the knowledge and ability to obtain these benefits."

Personal "navigators" are available free of charge to help individuals and small businesses enroll in a health care plan. ]
