University at Buffalo Police are investigating a complaint by a teenage female who said she was sexually assaulted during Wednesday night's Independence Day celebration on the North Campus.
The female filed a report that said just prior to the fireworks display, a black male entered a portable restroom she was using and forcibly assaulted her.
The assailant is described as approximately 5'8" tall, with a dark complexion, muscular build with short, curly hair and wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts.
Anyone with information on the situation is asked to call University Police at 645-2222.
