Two public radio stations are now one. WNED's purchase of WBFO radio is final. WBFO and AM 970 are now simulcasting from WNED's downtown studios.
WNED purchased WBFO from the University at Buffalo and will continue to provide NPR news and information programming.
Programs such as All Things Considered, Morning Edition and On Point will continue. Weekend programs include Car Talk, Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me and the blues.

Several WBFO staff members have also joined the AM 970 staff.
