The North Delta Duo is a new Buffalo Blues ensemble, headed to this week’s International Blues Challenge. WBFO Blues host Pat Feldballe talked with them about their upcoming journey and the music they make.
The duo consists of Ron Davis on keyboards, accordion and vocals, and Pete Holquin on drums and vocals. Davis may be best known to Buffalo Blues audiences as Lee Ron Zydeco, a major proponent of Zydeco music locally.
The International Blues Challenge is taking place the week of January 24th in Memphis, Tennessee.
