A stalwart of family-friendly musical covers turns 25 this month.

KidzBop churns out clean versions of popular songs. It strips out any explicit language or references to sex and repackages even the raunchiest songs in the bright, cheerful voice of a child.

Christopher Bell, a researcher and consultant in children’s media, is a critic of KidzBop and speaks with host Peter O’Dowd about his criticism.
