As coronavirus cases spike throughout the U.S., over a dozen states are beginning to pause or cancel their reopening plans. States like Texas, Arizona, and Florida are reporting their highest daily case tolls of the pandemic and quickly becoming COVID-19 epicenters. On top of that, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar warned that “the window is closing” to get on top of this pandemic.

Meanwhile, the White House is being asked to explain how much they knew about alleged bounties offered by Russia to the Taliban to kill U.S. troops. The administration has stated that President Trump was never informed about what happened in 2019, but other officials say he was briefed about it in February.

What did the president know and when did he know it? We’re talking to journalist Reid Wilson about it. We also get the latest updates on statewide responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.
