The Williamsville Central School District has suspended several students in connection with its investigation into the Jamey Rodemeyer case.
The disciplinary action is reported in Monday's Buffalo News. The students attend Williamsville North High School where 14-year-old Rodemeyer was a freshman.
Schools Superintendent Scott Martzloff declined to say how many students were sanctioned, but did say that those disciplined face a "minimum of suspensions."
On November 22, Amherst Police said that no charges would be filed in the case and closed their criminal investigation. But Police shared their information with the school district.
Rodemeyer committed suicide September 18th. He said he was repeatedly bullied for being gay.
Investigators said they searched for evidence that charges of aggravated harassment or a hate crime.
Investigators discovered heavy cyber usage by Rodemeyer including numerous YouTube videos and Twitter messages. But no crime was discovered.
