Buffalo, NY – An a capella group that emerged from the University of Rochester was selected to be on the NBC television show Sing-Off.
The Yellow Jackets made it through the first round. They appear again next Monday night for another round of competition.
Members are from across the country and right here in the Buffalo-Niagara region. WBFO'S Eileen Buckley says one lives in Wheatfield and another member -- Matthew Francis -- is from Amherst.
