Amherst, NY – Amherst Police are trying to determine if some students could face potential charges in the bullying of 14-year-old Jamey Rodemeyer.
The Williamsville North High School student committed suicide Sunday. His parent's say their son was the victim of bullying for years as he struggled with his sexuality.
WBFO'S Eileen Buckley talked to Amherst Chief of Police John Askey about the case.
Waking hours resume Friday afternoon for Rodemeyer at Amigone Funeral Home on Sheridan Drive at Hopkins in Amherst from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday morning at 9:30 AM at Saints Peter & Paul Church on Main Street in Williamsville.
Sunday night a Candlelight Vigil will be held for Jamey at Williamsville North High School's parking lot at 7'o'clock.
