Buffalo, NY – Area hospitals have been reviewed by the Niagara Health Quality Coalition for the past nine years, and the resulting report card measures the degree of safety in treatment that consumers can expect from those facilities.
According to Coalition President and CEO Bruce Boissonnault, these reports have led to numerous improvements in services at a number of hospitals and the focus of these reports is consumer driven.
Boissonnault assures that the reports are not influenced by funding from hospitals or the medical industry, and the success of the service has been accepted by many other states.
Locally, Buffalo General and Millard Fillmore Gates Circle scored well in the reports. Among those making the watch list was Millard Fillmore Suburban.
The report can be seen online at My Healthfinder Dot Com.
