Buffalo, NY – Former attorney and Erie County Legislator David Dale was arraigned in county court yesterday on a series of fraud and larceny charges.
Dale is accused of continuing to represent himself as a lawyer and of receiving compensation for legal services after his disbarment in 2005. These charges follow a fine imposed on Dale by a panel of judges from the Appellate Division of the State Supreme Court for his continuing legal practice.
If Dale is found guilty, he could face a term of eleven years in prison.
