Buffalo, NY – The Public Bridge Authority in conjunction with Buffalo and Fort Erie will be celebrating the 84th anniversary of the international bridge crossing on Sunday.
The Peace Bridge was officially dedicated on August 7th of 1927. The ceremony drew dignitaries from as far away as the United Kingdom. In recognition of the anniversary, the bridge will be illuminated with special lighting. Rotating displays of red and white lights, alternating with displays of red, white and blue lights, will honor both Canada and the United States.
The light show will commence Sunday night at nine o'clock.
