Special election set for Primary Day

Albany, NY – Governor Andrew Cuomo set special elections for September 13 to coincide with statewide primary day.

Voters will fill six vacant Assembly seats and the 9th Congressional District Seat. Cuomo issued the proclamations Friday. The election will include Sam Hoyt's 144th Assembly Seat, whcih he resigned from late Wednesday.
