A battleship at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park will turn into a stage this weekend. Nickel City Opera will present Puccini's comedy onboard the deck of the U.S.S. Sullivans.
WBFO's Eileen Buckley met with Nickel City artistic director Valerian Ruminski at the site of the ship to find out why and how this first-of-kind-event will be staged along Buffalo's waterfront.
The performance onboard the U.S.S. Sullivans is this Saturday and Sunday at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park on Buffalo's waterfront.
